What do you do?
The Secret Cabaret are the perfect choice for all types of event. We regularly entertain audiences at festivals, weddings, corporate events, charity balls, private parties and smaller public shows. From full scale electric live shows to smaller more intimate acoustic shows, we can cater for any size of occasion.  We are renowned for our high quality live shows which earns us new fans wherever we play. We guarantee to entertain.

What sort of music do you play?
We have an extensive and ever-growing song list that caters for all tastes and ages with hits from the 1950s right up to the present day covering rock, pop, disco, indie, soul and rock and roll! The songs you love are given The Secret Cabaret treatment with high quality musicianship consisting of drums, double bass, 2 guitars and exquisite 3 part vocal harmonies to top things off. The Secret Cabaret pride themselves on being 100% live with no backing tracks.

What do you look like?
Typically the band attire is smart  shirts with ties and waistcoats. However we are totally flexible and willing to adhere to any dress-code you require. Please let us know your requirements when booking

How long do you play for?
Typically we will play one of the following formats

•         2 x 45 minute shows

•         2 x 60 minute shows

We are completely flexible with show timings and are more than willing to play whatever format you require. Simply mention your requirements when booking


What equipment do you use?
The Secret Cabaret are fully self contained 100% live 4 piece band. We will supply our own PA and lighting system suitable for events up to 300 people. If your event is of a larger capacity we can arrange suitable sound and lighting solutions to meet your event requirements. Please let us know when booking.

FREE music during breaks
We are more than happy to supply a Ipod with an extensive song list of popular music to play through our sound system before, between and after our sets at no extra cost. Alternatively, if you wish to bring your own Ipod we will be more than happy to use this.


How much do you charge?

We offer highly competitive rates among other function & wedding bands in the UK.  Please contact us for your own bespoke, no obligation quote.
Fee includes:

•   All travel expenses.

•   Professional band lighting.

•   Professional sound system.

•   Disco music (if required) throughout the evening with vast amount of pre-mixed party tunes.

•   Facility to plug in your own i-pod/i-phone or laptop.

•   First dance (if a wedding) performed by the band.

•   The ability to make announcements throughout the evening.

•   Public Liability Insurance cover (Certificate available on request).

•   Fully PAT tested electrical equipment. (Certificate available on request).


When do you set up?
We will arrange a suitable arrival and set-up time with yourself prior to the event. We typically take around 60 minutes to set-up and soundcheck. We prefer to carry out the sound-check before the arrival of guests where possible.


Where do you play?
The Secret Cabaret are available to hire in the anywhere in the UK (or even the world!). We will perform at a wide variety of venues from pubs & village halls to large country estates, theatres, festivals, and hotel conference and function rooms. We will also perform in marquees or outdoors (weather permitting of course!)


Can I come and watch a show before I book you?
The Secret Cabaret play at a wide variety of private and public shows. If you wish to see the band in the flesh, let us know! We like to respect the privacy of our private bookers, but you would be more than welcome at any of the public performances. Details of public shows will be listed HERE as and when they are confirmed.


Do you take song requests?
You are welcome to pre-request specific songs from our repertoire and the band will try to accommodate as many of these as possible. If you would like us to learn and play a song that is not in our repertoire, please let us know in advance so we have sufficient time to arrange and rehearse the song.


Will I need to hire a DJ?
It depends on your requirements. We can supply background music for before, during and after our sets at no extra fee. This is done through an Ipod with a play list of party tunes from 60's to present day to keep the atmosphere going whilst the band is not playing.


What will you need from me?
The Secret Cabaret are a 4 piece band so will require a minimum playing space of 4 metres x 5 metres (approx) with plug sockets. We would also appreciate a room to get changed in and something to eat and drink. 


Some sound advice...
Before you book your entertainment we advise that you check with your venue to make sure they can accommodate for live music. Some venues have volume restrictions with cut off systems, not all venues will make you aware of this when you make a booking and this has potential to cause problems on the night.
We are more than happy to adjust our volume level to some degree however there are occasions where the venues restricted levels are too low to work within. The band needs to be informed of the venues noise code in order to respect it. Please ask your coordinator or event/venue manager and inform us when enquiring.
